Pumpkins aren’t just for carving and baking!

Gourd Games

Pumpkin Bowling – Arrange a triangle of 10 empty plastic 1- or 2-liter bottles. Players take turns gently rolling a pumpkin into the pins, with three chances to knock them all down.

Pumpkin Roll – Determine a starting line and a finish line. Set 2 pumpkins on their sides at the start and have the racers line up behind them. At “Go,” each pair of challengers uses sturdy brooms to propel the pumpkins over the finish line.

Yoga Classes In Texas

Bgpictures yoga 01

Yoga is more than fun it’s good for your health. According to Brandon Hartsell from Sunstone Yoga, “Beyond its purely physical benefits, yoga increases your body awareness and helps decrease stress. The increase in awareness leads to better decisions about what to eat. If you have a regular yoga practice, you are less likely to eat something that is going to make your practice uncomfortable. Instead of fueling your body with lots of foods that digest slowly, the body begins to ask for lighter foods higher in nutrients. It is more comfortable to do yoga with less food in your system.”

Sunstone Yoga, is the best studio in the nation for practicing yoga and power yoga. They provide their clients with top quality certified instruction at the finest facilities. They are positive that their unique series of yoga postures are a combination of technique and approach, directing you into your body to awaken your health, vitality, mind and spirit.

Location: Uptown Plaza – 2907 Routh St Dallas TX 75201

Contact them at: Phone – 214.764.2119 x101 Email – uptown_plaza@sunstoneyoga.com

Yelp.com Review: “I tried their 10 for $10 and it was really good. They provide free mats and towels, the studio is really clean and the rooms are fairly spacious…so you can get past the feeling of sweating with 20 others. What I like about Sunstone is that they have different classes based on your level of experience.”
