Fort Worth Remembers September 11


Donate phone cards to overseas troops at Hulen Mall.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the falling of the World Trade Center, and the new 9/11 Memorial will open to the public after September 11.  See what’s going on around Lincoln Trinity Bluff on September 11 with opportunities to pay tribute, volunteer or donate in Dallas/Fort Worth.

At the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, check out the free public 9/11 tribute.  The public ceremony will feature community leaders speaking and local organizations paying tribute to those in service on September 11, and following this, you can see the new 9/11 Tribute exhibit, featuring an actual 6,500-pound beam that supported the World Trade Center.

The exhibit will feature the largest 9/11 artifact in the State and stories from Fort Worth residents impacted by the event.  Connect with the Museum on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Flickr for more updates and upcoming events, and to learn more about the exhibit.
