Being bold and decorating with a large piece of art shouldn’t require the services of a professional decorator. However, having a few apartment decorating tips to help you pull it off wouldn’t hurt. Here are three tips to help you make oversized art fit perfectly into your Fort Worth apartment.
Minimize everything else. In order for a dramatic piece of oversized art to work, it has to be allowed to take over the space. Keep everything else tame so the room isn’t too busy.
Keep it subtle. A big piece of art can be used to take up an entire wall without taking over when the piece features easy colors and soft art. It will blend in and provide a backdrop instead of a focal point.
Off the Wall. If large art is just too much on the wall, try leaning it against the wall or place it on a low bench. Experiment with off-the-wall locations to find just the right spot.
