While spending time under the summer sunshine is always enjoyable, sometimes the opportunity to cool down is welcomed. While spending time at our refreshing swimming pools is always an option while at home, a visit to the Fort Worth Water Gardens is fantastic when you’re looking for things to do in Fort Worth away from home.

The Fort Worth Water Gardens, located at 1502 Commerce Street, is not far from our community. There are three pools of water featured at the part, the aerating pool, the quiet pool, and the active pool. The aerating pool is filled with sprinklers spouting water into the air to shower down to the pool underneath. In ideal daylight conditions, the showers create a shimmery rainbow-like effect. The quiet pool provides a peaceful, serene spot to sit and enjoy the surrounding beauty. Finally, with intricate stepping stones surrounded by almost 4 stories of cascading waters, the active pool is the main attraction at the gardens. Watching the waters from the center of the attraction is mesmerizing, and attracts a multitude of visitors daily.

Are you looking for a fun but inexpensive gift for your loved ones’ upcoming wedding? For one of the cutest and most useful DIY gifts, all you need are permanent markers and coffee cups. Use the following DIY wedding tips to create a personalized gift right in your Trinity Bluff Apartment.
Use the permanent markers to decorate your mug with the newly-weds’ initials, names, or another wedding-related phrase. You can do this by manually decorating the mug yourself, or by using letter stickers and coloring around them to create an outline of the words once the stickers are removed.
Place the mugs in the oven on 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Give the mugs time to cool off before washing or gifting them.
If you used sticker letters, gently remove the stickers to reveal the outline of the name or phrase
Use regular permanent markers for cups that may be hand washed, and oil-based permanent markers designed for ceramics to create something dishwasher safe.
