Come by Burnett Park in Forth Worth, TX for great views and events! Source: Facebook
Summer’s almost here and it’s time to head to the park. If you’re a resident of downtown Fort Worth, Burnett Park is a convenient place to enjoy some fresh air and sunshine.
Burnett Park is a 2-acre urban space located at 501 West 7th Street. In 2009, renowned landscape architect Peter Walker, who originally designed the park in 1984, was re-commissioned to renovate the park. What resulted is a greenspace interspersed with cobblestone paths, raised beds of flowers, trees, decorative boulders and statues. The park may be reserved for private functions like weddings, birthday parties, etc. In 2014, the 23rd annual Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis was staged from the park.
When not reserved for a private event, the park is open to the public. Workers in the surrounding high rise buildings fill the park each day for lunch.

Make sure you unplug. Our phones and other devices need to be charged. When we are not charging them, however, many of us leave the chargers plugged into the wall. This is a huge source of wasting energy. Get into the practice of unplugging chargers when you are not using them. This will not only save energy, but you will actually be saving yourself a bit of money on your electric bill.
A power strip is a great way to control how much electricity you use. Plug all of your chargers and devices into this handy strip, and with one flick of a switch, you can turn off the electricity to all the devices.
